Has anyone else noticed that some people seem to say "awkward" and "true" ALOT more as of recent years?

i dont really get it. someone will say "thats awkward" or whatever and they use it to describe a situation where the word awkward really just doesnt describe it.

"i need to go to the grocery store to get salad stuff"
"thats awkward"
"uhh... what?"

like that

and "true"

my god that one makes me irritated

i handed a friend of mine a water bottle

you know what he says?

"oh true story"

........

not "thank you" or "oh sweet.. WATER!! I FUCKING LOVE WATER"

but, "oh true story"

that, my friends, is in fact awkward. AND true.

see what i did there? i used the words APPROPRIATELY.

AHHH ok so David Archuleta and David Cook are the final 2 for American Idol.

I couldn't be more excited about next week!!!

I definitely know that Archuleta is going to win, cuz... duh

i mean, look at that face






can you say, YAWWWWWWW!!!

Cook is pretty damn good too, but he is no contest for Archuleta.

The only thing even the judges had to say about Archuleta on his last performance with his 3 songs was with the last one, and that was ONLY a criticism on the song choice, and the PRODUCERS picked that song for him!!!
ARCHULETA IS IT my friend.

For me, Cook is a little too much like Chris Daughtry. Its like a carbon copy, but with hair.
